About The Author:

Kurt Casey lives with his wife/boating partner, Eva Luna Ramirez, their son Pablo, daughter Luna Rayen and dog Rio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and in Southern Chile. 

Kurt has traveled  to South America 28 times for kayaking trips and has 15 trips to Peru alone.  In 1991 Kurt spent one year boating in Africa and has done exploratory trips on all but one continent.
